The Blue Indicating Molecular Sieves are available in Types 4A and 13X crystal structures. Both Types 4A and 13X are available in 8x12 mesh and 4x8 mesh beads. The physical properties and absorption capacities are similar to the non-indicating Types 4A and 13X Molecular Sieves. The Blue Indicating Molecular Sieves are impregnated with Cobalt Chloride. They gradually change from blue in the activated condition to beige in the saturated condition.
The Blue Indicating Molecular Sieves are used as a combination desiccant-relative humidity indicator.
Types 4A and 13X are delivered in drums containing 55 lbs net of product. (Please contact us for special packaging).
