Molecular Sieves are crystalline metal aluminosilicates that have been activated for adsorption by removing their water of hydration. During this dehydration, highly porous adsorbents are formed that have strong affinity for water and certain other gases and liquids.
As a desiccant or drying agent for organic liquids and gases; for drying inorganic gases in industrial processes: for drying air in air conditioning; as a desiccant and absorbent in reconditioning oils; as a chloride scavenger and other special uses.
Humidity Indicator Cards are color changing indicators and are reversible per Military Specification Mil-I-8835. All the spots are blue in color when they are completely dry. As they get saturated with moisture the color changes from blue to lavender, to a pink color (Humid). As the humidity level decreases the spots change from pink to lavender, to a blue color (Dry). These cards are accurate to plus or minus 5% relative humidity at 75OF.
Aluminum AIr Dryers are perforated aluminum canisters containing indicating silica gel. They are non-corrosive and protect against rust, corrosion, mold, mildew and spoilage due to humidity.
